A princess-like baby will pretty sum up how I was transformed by God when I came to receive Christ as my Lord & Saviour 13yrs ago...I thought it is good for me to reflect how my life journey has been as a "little Christ"-Christian. I recalled I was very short-tempered and would throw things all around when my emotions became out of control. Being youngest in the family, I didn't have to worry much as the best or if not brand new things are bought for me as items used by my sisters are too "outdated". As such, I became quite a demanding girl and simply refused to accept the fact that sometimes I can't always get the things I want. In a way, I was kinda a "spoilt princess" at home.
Little did I know that being 'spoilt' isn't what the Lord has created me to be...I am called into His Kingdom as His daughter, as His princess when I acknowledge who Christ is in my life. From then on, I became less insecure of my personal identity and knowing that I am truly a child of God. (to be continued...)
